About Dr. Ish Sharma

Dr. Ish Sharma, Director of Medical Services and Research at Jeena Sikho HiiMS, brings over 25 years of experience in Ayurveda education, clinical practice, research, and Panchakarma to the organisation. At Jeena Sikho HiiMS, he contributes his extensive clinical expertise and academic experience towards strengthening medical services, advancing research, and enhancing standards of Ayurvedic patient care.

A postgraduate and doctorate in Ayurveda from the National Institute of Ayurveda, Jaipur, Dr. Sharma has a special focus on Lifestyle Disorders and extensive clinical experience in Diabetes, Autoimmune Disorders, and diseases of the nervous system. As a Panchakarma clinician, he has worked with complex health conditions and witnessed remarkable clinical outcomes.

His academic and research contributions include 4 authored books and 20 peer-reviewed medical research articles, along with significant leadership roles in Ayurvedic education and academia. His international experience includes serving as Ayurveda Chair under the Ministry of Ayush, Government of India, and as Professor at the University of Mauritius, contributing to Ayurveda education and wellness initiatives.
