Viral Fever Symptoms

Rain that causes stagnant water is perfect for the growth of bacteria and mosquitoes. This facilitates the spread of viral complications during the change in season. Viral Fever Symptoms, such as a mild sore throat or fatigue, shouldn't be ignored because they can worsen rapidly.

Early Signs of Viral Fever are as follows:

1. An unexpectedly high fever.

2. Bodily aches and headaches.

3. A painful throat or dry cough.

4.  feel exhausted and relatively weak.

5. Diarrhoea or an upset stomach occasionally.

Being aware and initiating preventive measures at an early age are crucial. Ayurveda offers long-term, safe ways to maintain good health.

Ayurvedic Treatment for Viral Fever

According to Ayurveda, enhancing immunity and balancing doshas will strengthen the body's internal system. It aims to treat the underlying problem rather than just the symptoms. The following are some efficient  Viral fever treatment that Acharya Manish Ji has recommended:

Things we need:

  • Two buckets of water are required.

  • A thermometer to measure the temperature of the water.

  • Essential oil of lavender.

  • Nasal cleansing pot, or neti pot.

  • Lemon.

  • A soft cloth.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Warm Water Leg Bath:

  • Fill one bucket with warm water at 40°C - 42°C (comfortably hot, not scalding).

  • Pour 50°C hotter water into a second bucket. This is your "top-up" bucket for temperature control.

  • Lavender oil drops should be added to the first bucket (40–42°C).

  • Take a seat and soak your legs from knee to toe in the water.

  • Give it a minimum of half an hour to soak.

2. Keep the Water Temperature Constant:

  •  If the water begins to cool, gradually add more hot water from the second bucket (50°C) to bring it back to 40–42°C.

  • Maintaining the water's warmth for the entire half hour is crucial.

3. Drink Warm Lemon Water:

  • While soaking your legs, sip on a glass of very warm water (around 80°C).

  • Add a few drops of lemon juice to the water.

  • Sip it slowly throughout the leg soak.

4. Nasal Wash (Jal Neti):

  • After the leg soak, use a neti pot.

  • Fill it with 40–42°C (the same temperature as the leg bath) lukewarm, salty water.

  • Tilt your head to the side.

  • Carefully place the spout of the neti pot into one nostril to form a comfortable seal.

  • Tilt the pot slightly to let the water into your nostrils.

  • Slowly tilt the pot to let the water flow into your nostrils.

  • During this process, use your mouth to breathe normally. Avoid holding your breath.

  • Proceed to the other side.

5. For Headache or Head Fever:

  • Bring a soft towel if you experience heat or a headache as the fever increases. Using a cold water bath towel on the head helps relieve your forehead, simply wash it out and apply it there.

Lifestyle Changes and Diet

Ayurveda's importance extends to both lifestyle discipline and treatments. Among the helpful techniques are:

1. During the rainy season, only consume warm, boiling water.

2. Avoid cold beverages, ice cream, and heavy, deep-fried meals.

3. Make an effort to eat light foods like boiled vegetables, khichdi, and soups.

4. To boost immunity and fight against diseases, get enough rest.

5. To prevent mosquitoes from breeding, keep your surroundings clean and practice good hygiene.

Overall health naturally improves when these practices are combined with Ayurvedic Treatment for Viral Fever.

Natural Immunity Boosters

Ayurveda suggests focusing on improving prana (life energy) through food and exercise. Some immunity-boosting tips are:

  • Herbal teas with tulsi, mulethi, and ginger.

  • Yoga and Pranayama, especially Anulom-Vilom and Kapalabhati, to keep lungs healthy.

  • Coconut water, fresh juices, and light fasting on weak days to detoxify the body.

This approach targets the root cause of Viral Fever Symptoms by strengthening the immune system instead of only fighting the virus.
