About Dr. Avira Gautam

Dr. Avira Gautam is the National Head of Medical Services at Jeena Sikho HiiMS, with over 18 years of experience, including 12+ years with Jeena Sikho HiiMS, in Ayurvedic clinical practice, medical administration, academic mentorship, and healthcare management. She provides strategic guidance on medical services, clinical protocols, treatment standards, and professional development across the organisation.

She holds a BAMS, an MD in Roga Nidana (Diagnostic Medicine) from MUHS, Nashik, and an MBA in Hospital Management, and is currently pursuing her PhD. She is also a registered practitioner with the Board of Ayurvedic & Unani System of Medicine, Punjab. With expertise in Roga Nidana and a special focus on liver and hepatobiliary disorders, Dr. Gautam specialises in root-cause-oriented clinical assessment and Ayurvedic management of complex conditions. She has trained and mentored hundreds of doctors at Jeena Sikho HiiMS and also serves as a Professor at Saraswati Ayurveda Hospital and Medical College, Gharuan.

She has received the State Dhanwantri Award for her contribution to Ayurveda and actively contributes to women’s health and professional leadership as State Health Advisor, Women’s Wing, A.C.T.F.; Chairperson, Punjab State Women’s Wing, All-India Ayurved Congress; and Member, NIMA Chandigarh.

At Jeena Sikho HiiMS, she continues to contribute to clinical excellence, professional development, and patient-centric Ayurvedic care.
