In today’s world, it often feels like illness has become a way for some people to make money. Take cancer, for example. Especially gallbladder cancer. As soon as someone is diagnosed, they are sent through expensive and painful treatments without being told everything. In many cases, the treatment harms the patient more than the disease itself.

In one of his recent seminars, Acharya Manish Ji, spoke about this openly. He explained how gallbladder cancer is treated in hospitals, what the risks are with chemotherapy and other treatments, and why Ayurveda could be a safer option for many. Let’s break it all down in simple terms.

What Is a Gallbladder Tumor?

Your gallbladder is a small organ that sits right under your liver. Its main job is to store bile, a liquid that helps in digesting fats from your food. Gallbladder cancer happens when some cells in this organ start growing out of control and form a lump or tumor. It’s not very common, but when it happens, it spreads quickly. The problem is that this cancer usually shows symptoms very late, often when it has already reached a serious stage.

Warning signs of gallbladder cancer include:

  • Pain in the upper right side of the stomach

  • Yellow skin or eyes (called jaundice)

  • Feeling like vomiting or actually throwing up often

  • Losing weight without trying

  • Not feeling hungry for days

  • Fever or swelling in the stomach

  • Because these symptoms look like other stomach problems, many people  don’t take them seriously in the beginning.

How Is Gallbladder Cancer Treated in Hospitals?

If doctors find a tumor in the gallbladder, they usually follow this path:

  1. Surgery – They remove the gallbladder.

  2. Biopsy – After removing it, they test it in a lab to check if it’s cancerous.

  3. Chemotherapy – If cancer is found, they give the patient strong medicines (called chemo) to kill the remaining cancer cells.

  4. Radiotherapy – Some patients also receive powerful rays (like X-rays) to target cancer cells.

All this sounds helpful. But Acharya Manish Ji says we must also look at the other side of the story, the side effects.

When Treatment Does More Harm Than the Disease

In the seminar, Acharya Manish Ji shared the story of a man who had a tumor in his gallbladder. The doctors removed the gallbladder and later found out through a biopsy that it was second-stage cancer. As expected, the doctors suggested chemotherapy immediately. The patient’s family, scared and worried, agreed.

But after just four rounds of chemotherapy, the patient’s health got worse. He became weak, dull, and lost his energy. His son, who brought him to Acharya Manish Ji, shared his frustration: "My father didn’t get sick from cancer. He got sick from chemotherapy." Acharya Manish Ji then asked a simple but powerful question: “If the gallbladder had cancer and was already removed, what are they treating now with chemo?” It made everyone think.

How People Are Misguided and Overcharged

The moment someone hears “cancer,” they get scared. And in that fear, they often don’t ask questions or take a second opinion. Hospitals and big clinics know this. So, many of them push patients into expensive treatments, scan after scan, and long hospital stays. Acharya Manish Ji also warned people about PET scans, which inject chemicals into the body. He said these chemicals can sometimes make the cancer worse. Instead, he recommends ultrasound, which is safer and doesn’t have any harmful effects.

Sadly, many patients and families lose not just their health, but also huge amounts of money because of this system.

Ayurveda’s View: Heal Naturally, Without Side Effects

Acharya Manish Ji has spent years spreading awareness about Ayurveda, India’s ancient system of medicine. He believes that the human body can heal itself when treated with care and balance. According to Ayurveda, diseases like cancer happen due to an imbalance in the body’s energies (called doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha) and the buildup of toxins.

With the help of:

  • Herbal medicines

  • Detox therapies (like Panchakarma)

  • A clean, simple diet (Sattvic food)

  • Daily routines like yoga, meditation, and proper sleep …

The body can become strong again, naturally. He also shared that many patients who were told there was no hope after chemo or surgery have recovered slowly but surely through Ayurvedic treatment.

Key Takeaways from the Seminar

  • Don’t panic if someone you love is diagnosed with cancer. Stay calm and ask questions.

  • Always understand the full picture before starting chemo or surgery.

  • If the cancerous organ is already removed, find out if further treatment is really needed.

  • Trust your body. It can heal when given the right care.

  • Ayurveda is not a miracle but a safe and strong path to healing.
